Borehole Logging Technician

We are hiring a technician or engineer specializing in borehole geophysics for a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize field operations and conduct geophysical data collection
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot logging instruments and survey equipment
  • Validate data, prepare reports, and communicate findings with clients
  • Work on remote sites in 2-3 week rotations

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical and outdoor acumen
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot logging instruments and survey equipment
  • College diploma in geology, mineral technology, or equivalent experience good to have but not mandatory

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
  • Basic knowledge of electronics and mechanics
  • Initiative and adaptability to work in remote locations
  • English and French communication skills (spoken and written) are an asset
  • Valid driver’s license is a requirement of the job

Work Location:

Various work sites in Quebec and international locations.
